CONTAINER EXCHANGE FOR A DAY

Let's have fun, challenging yourselves and building community! Bring your favorite vase, line material (example branch) and floral material/flowers to the Shepard Garden and Arts Center and take home a beautiful ikebana arrangement created by a fellow ikebana enthusiast. Challenge yourself by creating an arrangement in an unexpected vase with materials selected by your peers. No experience is necessary. If you would like help, it will be available to you—just let us know at check-in. This should be a creative, great, fun filled day for all and the best part is you will go home with an arrangement created in your favorite vase and materials!   

MATERIALS LIST:  bring your vase, kensai (pin frog), line material and flowers to have someone create an arrangement for you.  Also, bring your hasami (Scissors), towel, cutting bowl and table cloth so you can create your arrangement for someone else.  

Members are free; Non-members we ask a $5.00 donation at the door.
