“EARLY FALL” is the theme for Connie Chen from the Wafu School of Ikebana. She will be coming from the Bay Area to demonstrate the dynamic artistry of Wafu Ikebana. At the end of our program we be raffling one of her arrangements to a lucky participant. Please reserve your space early.

About The Event
Connie was born in Taiwan and came to the US in 1993. Connie is president of the
Wafu Ikebana Society, and a Wafu School of Ikebana California chapter member. She
currently teaches Ikebana beginner classes at Fremont Unified School District adult
education in Sunnyvale, California, is an active member of Ikebana International San
Francisco, and a recording secretary of Ikebana International Federation in the Bay
Area. Connie has demonstrated and exhibited Ikebana at flower shows, including the
Wafu School of Ikebana California Chapter, Cherry Blossom Festivals in Cupertino &
San Francisco, Ikebana Teachers Federation in the Bay Area, Bouquets to Art at
DeYoung Museum San Francisco, and Ikebana International SF Bay Area chapter.
Connie states that there are infinite ways for flowers to fill us with hope and beauty.
