About The Event

We are pleased to announce Katsuko Thielke will be conducting a

workshop on January 22, 2024 @ 12:00.  Participants will create their own structure using bamboo rings

that can be used in arrangements and decor.   She is in demand as a demonstrator,

teacher, and exhibitor.  Born in Tokyo, she developed her love of flowers as a small child

of nature. Katsuko completed her Sogetsu studies under the guidance of Shoko

Kobayashi and Shoka Narimatsu. Katsuko has been giving demonstrations and

conducting workshops throughout California and across the country since 2014. Her

work has been displayed in the annual Bouquets to Art Show at the de Young Museum

in San Francisco.
