Yoshiko received her Assoc. 1st Degree of the Master Course in 2023 and belongs to Ohara Ikebana School Northern CA Chap. S.F. and Sacto. I.I. and I.T.F. We are honored to have her present.

About The Event
We are pleased to announce Katsuko Thielke will be conducting a
workshop on January 22, 2024 @ 12:00. Participants will create their own structure using bamboo rings
that can be used in arrangements and decor. She is in demand as a demonstrator,
teacher, and exhibitor. Born in Tokyo, she developed her love of flowers as a small child
hiking in the mountains with her father who encouraged her to find interest in the beauty
of nature. Katsuko completed her Sogetsu studies under the guidance of Shoko
Kobayashi and Shoka Narimatsu. Katsuko has been giving demonstrations and
conducting workshops throughout California and across the country since 2014. Her
work has been displayed in the annual Bouquets to Art Show at the de Young Museum
in San Francisco.
Katsuko will be conducting a demonstration/workshop using bamboo rings. Attendance
is limited. Members $20 and nonmembers $35.
